MAUSOLEUM

Mausoleum is my last project in UC Berkeley. It is a project to show how an industrial product can be influenced by architecture design.

Mausoleum, which has blurry definition between architecture and product, meaning, it can be seen as an architecture or an industrial product.

My project aims to focus on the characteristics of the product rather than architecture, by emphasizing it’s function, value, experience it provide to the live and the past.

The mausoleum made by alabaster stone is presenting a feeling of unique but elegant and magnificent. By walking on the concrete stairs, people who stand in front of the dome will amaze by the peaceful nature light coming through from the opening of the top, will feel calm and solemn under the dome.
